Penjana Kapital is collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud, to co-organise the 12th installation of Capital Connections in an effort to cultivate an open discussion amongst start-ups and corporates in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Among the main highlights of the event is a panel discussion themed “AI Revolution: How AI Impact Us”, held at the AWS Office, featuring industry players and thought leaders within the AI space namely Simone Macario, CEO of Vox Sea Sdn Bhd, Apurva Kumar, CEO of CITYDATA, Inc, Alex P’ng, CEO of 123RF, and Shawn Lim, Chief Global Solution Officer of Aerodyne Group, and moderated by AWS.

On 2 March 2023, AWS announced it will invest US$6 billion (RM25.5 billion) in an AWS infrastructure Region in Malaysia, its largest international technology investment in Malaysia to-date, which will give developers, startups, entrepreneurs, and enterprises, as well as government, education, and non-profit organizations, greater choice for running their applications and serving end users from data centers located in Malaysia.
